Terms of Use

Terms for reading and using the independent REA community guides and attributed public examples on reverseengineeranything.tools.

Last updated: 2026-10-12

What does this website provide?

reverseengineeranything.tools is an independent community information website about REA, the open-source Reverse Engineer Anything project. The site publishes educational guides, comparisons, links to official materials, and attributed summaries of public community posts.

This website is not affiliated with or endorsed by the REA maintainers. The official project is available at rea.tools and github.com/morluto/rea. Questions about this website can be sent to macbookair@88.com.

The site is free to read and has no user accounts, paid plans, file uploads, or hosted analysis service. Software installation and investigations take place separately, using tools you choose to run on your own machine.

How should you use the guides and examples?

Use the information for lawful research, education, interoperability, software preservation, and analysis of software you own or are authorized to examine. You are responsible for confirming the permissions, licenses, and rules that apply to your target and your tools.

Do not use the website to interfere with its availability, gain unauthorized access, distribute malicious material, or infringe another person's rights. An example on this site does not grant permission to access or modify the software discussed.

How reliable are the examples and instructions?

We aim to cite primary sources and distinguish official worked examples from independent community reports. A summary of a public post reflects the source author's account; it does not by itself establish that we reproduced the result. Linked materials can change or disappear, and software requirements can change after a guide is written.

Check the official documentation and your installed tool's capabilities before running a command. REA's repository main branch may document features newer than the published npm package. Analysis output and agent explanations require review; no guide promises complete source recovery, universal target support, or a particular result.

Who owns the software and referenced content?

REA-authored code is licensed under the project's MIT license. Third-party software and material retain their own terms. Commercial analysis tools, including Hopper, IDA/Hex-Rays, and JEB, require their applicable licenses; REA and this website do not supply those licenses or activation rights. See the project's third-party notices.

Referenced names, logos, screenshots, posts, and source materials belong to their respective owners. Attribution and a link do not imply sponsorship or endorsement. When reusing material, follow the license and permissions attached to that material; these terms do not grant rights owned by someone else.

External websites, repositories, model providers, and tools are operated under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability, behavior, security, or changes. A link provides context or a source reference and is not a guarantee of that service or its content.

What are the limits of this information service?

The website and its educational content are provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, completeness, or suitability for a particular investigation. You remain responsible for reviewing commands, protecting your data, and checking results before relying on them.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on the content or use of linked third-party tools and services. These terms do not exclude rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

How can you request a correction or removal?

Email macbookair@88.com with the relevant website page, source URL, and a description of the issue. For attribution, privacy, or copyright concerns, include enough information to identify the material and explain your relationship to it. We will review the request and update or remove content where appropriate.

How can these terms change?

We may revise these terms as the website changes and publish the updated date on this page. Our Privacy Policy describes information handling for the site.
